From One Idea to a World of Games: How We Built Minitoon.Games

Built for Players, Not Just Downloads Starting a game studio isn’t about launching as many games as possible—it’s about creating experiences people genuinely enjoy. That’s why Minitoon.Games was built around one simple idea: gameplay comes first. Before graphics, marketing, or monetization, every game starts with a question: **Is it fun?** As an independent studio, we’re free to build games that respect players’ time. No chasing trends, no unnecessary complexity—just engaging, accessible games that are easy to pick up and hard to put down. Every title we create is shaped by player feedback, thoughtful design, and a commitment to quality over quantity. We’re still growing, still experimenting, and still building games we’d love to play ourselves. Because great games aren’t measured by downloads—they’re measured by the moments that keep players coming back.

From Blueprint to Bassline: How We Built ChilledPunks from the Ground Up

Nobody hands you a manual for starting a label. Nobody hands you a manual for starting a label. When we launched ChilledPunks, we built it the only way we knew how — from the music outward. We got honest about our sound first: the lo-fi textures, the hip-hop roots, the global influences our artists bring through the door. Then we built the infrastructure around that — digital and physical distribution, in-house production, artist development, all of it lean and independent out of the Netherlands. No major label budget, no corporate backing, just a clear vision and a hard line around what we’re not willing to compromise on. Thirty days from concept to live. We’re still building — and if you’re an artist tired of shouting into the void, come find us.
